LCS Middle School

Lakewood Christian Middle School is a safe and nurturing place for students.

Through smaller classes and personal relationships with teachers, students build a sense of responsibility, strengthen study habits, and grow in their understanding of their faith in Jesus Christ as they are academically trained each day.

Students benefit from a departmentalized program with a "big school"  feel, while enjoying the comfort of a small school community.

LCMS is...

A middle school that trains your adolescent to stand firm in his or her faith.

A school that has a 30 year track record of producing academically sound kids.

A school where the unique qualities of 12-14 year olds are understood and valued.

A school that equips young people to be productive and responsible citizens of their home, church and community.

A school that offers parents support.

LCMS offers...

Academically challenging curriculum from a Christian world view,  taught by credentialed, loving teachers that understand the adolescent mind.

P.E. and sports programs that enhance character as well as skills;  knowing the game is more than winning & losing, but about learning life lessons.

A growing music program that includes vocal choir, band, hand bell choir and private lessons  that teach a blend of classical and contemporary music through performance, writing and recording.

An online grade book where parents can monitor their own student’s progress, and regularly communicate with teachers and administration via e-mail.

Interesting and varied electives taught by teachers specializing in the area.
