LCS Parents Rock!

We are so blessed here at LCS with such amazing parents. You are the most important person to your child and we are thrilled to be chosen to help you in the maturing of your children by providing a Christ-centered education emphasizing academic excellence.

This section of the web site is for you. We want to keep you in touch with your child’s teachers, provide you with fun and important information, and give you numerous ways you can share your God-given talents and make strong friendships with other parents.

The first step is to make sure you know where to find critical information:

“Bear Tracks” is our weekly newsletter filled with timely information. It is sent out via email on the first day of each school week, typically Mondays. To sign up to receive Bear Tracks please click here to subscribe. Bear Tracks is also available online, found under the Parent link then Bear Tracks in the drop-down menu. Online you can see the last few Bear Tracks in case you missed anything. Click here to view the recent Bear Tracks.

Teachers Pages - all teachers have their own web page where they post homework assignments and information about their class that you, as a parent, want to know. This is a great way to help your child stay on track and communicate with them with confidence on how things are going in school.

The second step is to provide you with opportunities to make friends and get plugged in:

PTF - Parent Teacher Fellow

This Fellowship is a strong and supportive base of parent volunteers working together as a liaison between teachers, students, parents, administrators, staff, and school board members. Biblical principals allow us to seek His divine guidance for our children's mental, physical, spiritual, and social growth.

Membership in this organization is free and is open to all parents and guardians of currently enrolled students, teachers, and administrators of LCS.

Prayer Chain

The prayer chain is an vital part of LCS. Run by PTF an LCS family may send a request for prayer from those who have signed up to receive prayer requests and pray for others. To send a prayer request or sign up to be on the prayer chain, please send an email to prayerchain@lakewoodchristianschools.org.

Moms in Touch

Every Thursday morning moms gather together and prayer for their children. Moms in Touch is an international organization whose mission is to impact children and schools worldwide for Christ by gathering moms to pray. Enjoy the power of praying moms.
